The film begins as the story of a couple, retold by another woman seemingly swamped in the mundane chores and duties of life. She has the man’s key , hinting that they had a relationship in the past. She is driven by her ever intensifying jealousy to breaking into his apartment, where she knows his new girlfriend will eventually light up a cigarette. She leaves the gas on to give her ex-boyfriend and the new girlfriend an explosive surprise. She is thereby relieved of the guilt that she feels is ascribed to her by the new couple, and smiles broadly.
Based on Fred Leebron’s Short Story
